The Mars Robotics FTC team has positions for students with a variety of interests and talents!
Mars area students in grades 7-12 are eligible to join the fun
FTC Competitions judge teams on much more than just the success of the robot. Several other awards are available that are judged on community outreach, team spirit and how the "pit" is presented at tournament, as well as website, business plan, social media and videography contests. At competition a Team Judging interview gives every team member an opportunity to promote the team and describe their role in the team. Team members are encouraged to eventually manage their team as a business, complete with a business plan and fundraising by team members.
A fully staffed team consists of student team members who are builders, programmers, fundraisers, Website designers, community outreach coordinators, and students who photograph and do video documentation of team activities.
